Has anyone heard of a QH stallion named Krugerand?

My 4 yo mare and her half brother are out of a Quarter Horse stallion named Krugerand. They are supposed to be the last two foals out of him and the man who bred them swears he was a big deal but I can't find any information on him and I haven't seen their papers. Has anyone ever heard of this stallion? Any help would be greatly appreciated, it doesn't particularly matter its more my curiousity than anything.
*on a side note, that may or may not be the proper spelling!

He's actually not a palomino. He's a gold champagne, which is a chestnut with the champagne gene :) Which is why I knew who he was, I love champers :)
