Help finding info on my TB.

I wasn't sure where to put this, but here goes;

Name: Zorro when he was sold to the lady i bought him from. She changed his name to Red. Nothing else is known before this.
Age; 9 Born March 2001
Gender: Gelding
Height; 15.3/16hh Measured twice at both heights
Colour; Chestnut, has got a white spot on right hnd. Paint like star between eyes.

I have NO idea where he's come from, was told upper NSW or Queensaland;

Near; Conjoined "JBS" Or it has a long tail from being double hit, i'll get a photo up.
Off 9 over 1.

Any help would be a god send! He has an injury and im desperate to find out what happened!

There is no helping if you don't have pictures, his real names and if he's registered his registered name also his number. If you have any of this i maybe able to help.

Is this it?

That's a brand search in Queensland. If in NSW, then you may have to go through Livestock Health and Pest Authorities. There's also the TB Stud Book, but a fee applies.

As far as the 9 and the 1, what I found says that he was the 9th foal born in 2001. It's similar to prison horse branding here.

well, maybe, you could try to track down his past through his past owners, but that's all I can think of, or maybe you could track at least back to someone who has a registered name, then after that there is a site that lets you look at pedigrees, and some have information, like past owners and shows that have been won. And there are probably plenty of other sites that lets you do similar things. I know this wasn't much help, but I tried. :) Good luck with your horse :)
