Help with Registering

So I got a new gelding this weekend. They gave me his "number" ... how do I get his papers? Who do I contact?

He is a TB/Warmblood.

I know with a QH you can go on the AQHA website and request them. What is he registered with?

Yeah I have a QH(AQHA) and a TB(JC) .. both are registered with papers but I have never had to do a horse who isn't pure bred ...

I don't know what he is reg with and that's why I am asking for help... I have his number but not sure what to do with it...

Well, the JC won't register anything but a full TB, so try the Warmblood Registry.

Seems to me it would be the AWB Registry and not anything else, since I can't think of another association that would register that combination of breeds.

I will be of no help because I've never heard of anything like it. Why don't you call the people and ask?

Ask the sellers what registry he's registered with and go from there. Do they not have his papers? Are they the owner on file with the registry?

What does the bill of sale say? I would assume it would include his registry information.

The foal/horse of a full QH and a full TB can be registered with the AQHA as an Appendix QH. What numbers are you referring to?
