He's a paint!!!

Recently I found out that the mule is out of a Paint mare!! Do you think he needs more muscle on his hindquarters?

Mules have a different muscle structure than horses. I believe they are smoother(?) than those of horses. I need to go reread my book on the subject. But I'm sure some butt development couldn't hurt him.

I like his chest. Man, you could push a wheelbarrow between his front legs! Hah. Nice mule!

He has a VERY thick end, but a really skinny hindend.... it looks really weird, but you can't really see it in that picture.... i'll try to get a better one tomorrow

Wow he is so cute! LOL I like his chest area too; he looks nice!
Hmm he maybe could use some more in his hindquarters, but overall he looks pretty nice.

Ride more, worry less.

I don't know about mules, but from the picture his hind quarter muscle looks similar to a young Paint. Here's a pix of our Paint filly to compare..

She's still has another year or two to fill out and add almost 200 lbs.

his hindquarters already look better.... he's lost his poofy hair, and he's in better shape, idk whether it's bigger though

He's really petite though.... he's skinnier than most of the 2-4 y/os that come through and he's 9! I guess it's the donkey in him
