How To Look Up A TB

I am trying to help a friend advertise a horse for sale and the horse is registered so I would like to find out her pedigree and more about her.

All I know:

- Breed: Thoroughbred
- Registered name is Belle Libertine
- Color-chestnut
- Mare
- 13yrs old
- She did come from the track

I already checked allbreedpedigree and she's not on there. Is there any way to find out more about her? (i.e. Racing career, foals?, lineage, etc)

Any chance this is her lineage? I just found it on the pedigree database for the Jockey Club...although it says 2003, I am not sure if that's DOB or not. Sorry this is all I could dig up-good luck!

Have you checked the tattoo? Though the AllPedigree database is a good one.

Ooh alpine that might be her! My friend couldn't find the papers at the time but she was just guessing she was thirteen. She's going to see if she can find her papers and she's going to check her tattoo for me. She's been so busy lately she barely has time to sit down, I'm trying to help her out as much as I can.

Best bet (maybe the only easy one) is to look up the tattoo number. I don't remember the website through which you enter the number off the top of my head, but a google search should be able to help you. I was easily able to look up the OTTB that I have been working with.
