How much would you pay for this horse?

Okay. Im not sure if I can upload a picture or not, because I don't want to steal someone elses picture lol, but I will give you all the info on him and just tell me what you think.

"12 year old Quarter horse Gelding, loves people. Loads, stands tied, excellent ground manners. An excellent whoa & rein on this
Guy. Very soft mouthed, it takes the gentlest of touches to get this guy to do what you want. Can be ridden
In a halter. A dark golden palomino with beatiful white mane/tail. He's flashy and easy on the eyes. A true 15 hands
Tall and a thick stocky typical quarter horse build."

He is just gorgeous, and when the owner says easy on the eyes... he is indeed easy on the eyes. But I know that looks arent everything.

With out a picture, what would you pay for him? Thanks!

It all depends on what he's done show/training wise and what your planning on doing with him. From the ad, it doesn't sound like he's a seasoned show horse, so I'm assuming you're just wanting a pleasure/trail horse, in which case I probably wouldn't pay more than $1,000 for him. Maybe if you posted a link to the ad so we could see the picture?

Sellers can lie about how well trained an animal is, and color is the least important thing when you're considering buying a horse.

I'd want to see his conformation as well as a video showing how he moved, before I'd willingly place a dollar value on him.

Besides, a horse is worth whatever someone's willing to pay for it.

Impossible to even begin to name a price without knowing how much of what the seller claims is actually true and seeing his conformation.

Need to see pictures and preferably video of movement and conformation. Also need to know what his training and showing experience is.
