HYPP Look Up

Im sorry if this isn't the right place to post, but seeing as its a "Breed" related disease, figured this might be the best.

I'm REALLY hoping someone can help me find the HYPP status of a horse so that I don't have to test a mare I'm considering buying.

DreamHorse.com Horse ID: 1857023 - HOT RODDIN N DIRTY

That is the mare, and was thinking if I could get the HYPP status of IMPRESSIVILY ROSE OR Rocki The Sequel ... that would end the hunt to figure it out.

Impressivily Rose is a QH so should have it on file.

Found her status... well her sire's status who would be the only HYPP horse and he's N/N. Man that was a lot of digging. Where did I find it? Of all places, in the "edit information" part of all breed pedigree

If it was me, I'd rather just test the horse and know 100% without a doubt rather than depending on papers that someone may or may not have falsified.

Oh, and allbreed shouldn't be depended on for anything like that. It's an open site where just about anyone can go in and enter/edit information on any horse.

Well actually, why I hadn't thought of this before, I looked up the stud himself and found where he is standing stud and also found out he's NN

I'd still have the test done. People lie, tests don't.

Smrobs.. so so true. Get the test done, or get approval in written form to get a copy from the Vet, or to at least go view it.

I'm not saying I'm not having the test done. I know people can lie, believe me I know this.

Yes, you did tell us that you weren't planning on testing if someone would tell you whether the stud was N/N or not.

If you were planning on testing before purchase, then you wouldn't have needed to ask in the first place.

I don't really feel like being attacked for something I've said/typed wrongly.

I do plan on having the test done, but being that multiple things state that the sire is N/N it is safe to bet she is N/N as well.

Also, even a horse WITH N/H needs a home I just wanted to find out her probability.

Just because people lie, doesnt mean everyone does or that it would show all across the board that the stud is NN if it was a lie. Something would have come up.
