One thing. This is a QH/ARAB cross, and the other is my horse. No similarity.

And im just going to ignore comments that offend me. You people don't know me so I don't want to hear your rude comments on who I am.

ShadowFaxIsMyBaby, Kevin was in no way being rude to you, only pointing out some information.

Now, let's get back on point or it will be necessary to close the thread.

BTW, if you don't see the similarity, you are not looking carefully.

Okay. Well there is a small similarity in the body but Shadow's head is much larger and differently shaped. And her body is much longer then the other horses.

There are always differences in the breed. Compare a foundation QH to a racing QH - both are registered with the AQHA but look totally different. The pictures you show above are very similar - minor differences but they could easily be from the same breed.

Look at RiosDad's avatar of his Arab, then look at my horse Charlie. Both Arabs but so totally different that you would not think of them as being the same breed.

There was a mare who was at my riding school who was part Cleveland Bay but the rest of her was Arab and you wouldn't know there was any CB in her at all. There was also a gelding who looked pure TB but he was half Connemara, you wouldn't know.
I reckon QH/Arab as well. Crossbreeds can come out looking like a completely different horse to either parents at times. I knew a little mare I would swear was a Welsh sec D but she was Fell/Appaloosa.

I agree with the rest of the crew. She looks to be a QH/arab cross or possibly mustang/arab cross. Its hard to compare pictures because the crosses can vary SO differently. There are alot of mustangs out there people use for breeding when they get them off the range. Not to mention, your mare has a spanish profile and eyeset. The mustangs carry quite a bit of spanish in some of the herds. She has a little andalusian (spanish?) look to her but like others have stated, it's not all that likely as there arent alot of andalusians running through the market, let alone given away without a pretty price tag. She's very very good looking and you look like a good match there on her back!! =)
