I wish I was a bit smaller.

I have to admit, since starting lessons at an English barn I am extremly jealous of the small people who get to ride the sassy little welsh ponies there... It's just not fair! I'm 5.8 and a little less than 160lbs, I'd probably squish the little devils. Five ponies are just sitting there, taunting me. Sorry ,my little rant of the rant of the day.

Oh why thank you, but I think proportionally to the ponies it's a little off.

That's because you're not the tiny person stuck with the EVIL pony!

Ponies are EVIL, EVIL I tell you! Especially Welsh ponies... they look oh so cute and tiny until they smoosh you into the wall and then dump you.

Im 5'9 and 171lbs and I completely understand what you mean, you just feel like your too tall and just seem weird and disproportional on a pony. I feel like a big gust of wind is going to catch me and knock me off at any moment Just know you're not alone and ride them anyways, awkward or not From what my trainer told me, ponies are able to handle more weight, so squish them

I don't like ponies!!! They are super evil! I was 5'6" at the time and I was on a trail with one of the barns ponies... He rodeo bucked me off and I broke my shoulder in 2places!!! Since then me and ponies do not have a friendly relationship... I was so mad about it.. I was like I get bucked off a 17h horse and nothing, but a stupid pony breaks me? Wonderful!

My Mom rides one of my trainer's welsh ponies something and she weighs just as much as you. The pony doesn't mind!

And 13.2, PFFT. Selena is 13.3. And she carries my Dad who is close to 200lbs.
