Are irish draughts good first horses???

    Hey!

Im thinking of getting a horse and I want to know is a irish draught (maybe cross?) is a good horse?
I have ridden for 3 years and help out at the local stables!

It matters less on the breed, and more on the individual. Assuming the horse is of an appropriate age, has had adequate training, and is physically fit in accordance to your goals, I don't see why an Irish Draught (or cross... or anything else xD) wouldn't be suitable.
