I've fallen in love...

with fresians.
I had never seen one before in person, but I went to a local show yesterday and there was a beutiful fresian showing english. After the show it was putting its head in the girls lap and sleeping. And it had only been broke for 4 months!
I wish I could have gotten a picture of it, but when I get older I am so getting one.

Aww! I also love the look of Friesians...I think they are a gorgeous breed. I have yet to see one in person or ride one!

Success comes a [bit] at a time.

They are pretty but they aren't as great as I thought they were before I spent time around them.

Unless it weighs a ton... it's just a horse. Draft horse motto.

We had a medieval show with Freisians and Percherons. The Friesians were flat out crazy. They were flighty, difficult to deal with. Their canter is horrible - it's a really rocking sort of one so you've got to have a really good seat to ride it through. I thought it was just the one but they were all like that.

I'd never own one. But, they are really nice to watch. I'd recommend anyone that wants one to go ride one first and spend time around them, it might very well change your mind. There are a lot of people that like that kind of horse, but not me!

I went to the Hoosier Horse Fair in Indianapolis and seen some Fresians. Absolutely gorgeous! Fell in love right then and there.

That are absolutely stunning animals to watch.
I've never met any, but I could sit and watch them all day!

yeah., I know they are so pretty and animated, its amazing.
Solon, would it be better to raise one from a foal so they trust you, or is it just the breed?
