Hah I know I thought she was a bay until my friend who is the owner's grand daughter told me that she is a registered zebra dun. But sure enough she has a dorsal stripe! And I know what you are saying about the face too. Your mini is beautiful!!!!

Free Sprtd, your horse looks very "Kiger"! Looks quite a bit like another Kiger we have here. Very cute horse you have!
HEY THANKS! ya those pics are of his winter fatty pics lol, but he has more kiger characteristics usually in beginning of summer after he's been worked more (because of this nasty weather!!) and cleaned. lol

Here's another of him last spring first time having a rider.

This is my Loo................she's a red dun, although it's hard to see, all she really has is the dorsal stripe.

So I have a question...Sandie is a Buckskin, but is the only difference between Dun and Buckskin the dorsal stripe? She has a stripe, but it's just kinda faded and you can just barely see it...does it have to be very solid/prominant for them to be considered dun? Here's Sandie -- this is the only pic that you can kinda sorta see the stripe in that I have so far...it's barely noticeable..but I use it to make sure the saddle's centered sometimes HAHA Does anyone else do that??
