Canya and Joker are QH mules, if I ever see them again I'll be sure to tell them they look weird, and are also ugly apparently.

All three of mine were fairly quiet, Joker and Canya would do this sort of half bray that would end in a sort of coughing sound, kind of silly sounding. I was saddle shopping til I desided to sell her, we just used my dad's roping saddle on her. We liked her alot! I think if we'd have kept her much longer my sister would have kept her for herself. I'd also have given her to my nephew who really loved her, he said he'd prefer a mule to a horse, but his mom said no.

Someday I want to get a mule. I almost bought a baby mule a few years ago. Cutest little thing. Bald face and a bright orangy red with huge ears. Lots of crome on his legs and looked like he would get to a decent size, maybe 16-17 hands. My riding instructor talked me out of it. Said I would probably have problems with it when trying to train it because they are alot smarter then horses and can be stubborn. She did say that if I could find myself a trained riding mule she would suggest buying a mule rather then a horse because she thought they where alot better to have.

Myth= Free/Cheap horses are expensive.
Indy was $150 we keep her in a pasture with a shed for free and she is brushed and fussed over dailey. Other then deworming and feet trimming she isn't costing us anything.
