If you want to know who his (current) owner is listed as let me know. I got some AQHA money available yet lol

I switched to APHA, but I keep a current AQHA membership because you just never know.
That being said, I know and respect not everyone has the money right now to join this kinda stuff and spend the money on membership
So I'm always willing to help out!

    here are some pictures

I do, I have another thread with pictures in the color forum, I need to get a camera and take better ones. He is a good looking boy, I am planning on using him for barrels in a couple years. For now he is being halter broke and learning to be a gentleman.

Just found it. Nice lookin little boy!

When you get his paper work and register your boy in your name you can easily fix his color for nothing. A worth while investment IMHO as well as updating when/ if he was gelded.

I know color and sex/gelding seem silly to some but it helps with statistics and general aqha overal number information!

I may be mistaken but I don't think you can change his name with AQHA and still show under QH rules...

I thought roan was a simple dominant gene and you need a roan parent as it doesn't hide. If there is a roan gene you have a roan horse. Am I wrong? That would mean one parent has to carry the gene. If neither of his parents are roan then it is coloring from another factor (gray comes to mind but it is inherited the same I think) so maybe there is something else going on or the colors don't list the parent as roan though it is? He's a really pretty color.
