Looking to Purchase Filly

We are looking to purchase our first untrained horse. After looking for about two years, we are pretty certain we have found the right one. However, not knowing all about the pedigrees, I wanted some input from unbiased people. I have added a link to her pedigree and I would love to know what different people think. We are supposed to make our final decision this week. Thank you in advance!!!

What is the purpose of buying the horse? Cutting, reining, etc?

Not a fancy pedigree but not the worst I've seen either...What are you plans for the horse?

She will be trained for cutting. Originally we were looking for a barrel horse, however I like the versatility of a cutting more so. The barrels are only for fun anyway...

Just wondering, what would you consider a 'fancy' pedigree? I know she has several good names in her lineage, but very true, there are also some no names in there as well.

When I say fancy, it means that at least on of her parents had better have had a good performance/show record. She might be a good cutting horse, you never know. Peppy San Badger was a great horse! But even the best breed horses sometimes aren't worth snot.

Thanks for clarifying. So many people have their own way of saying things, I did not want to misinterpret anything! Very true, an excellent parentage does not always equal quality!!!

Peppy San Badger will be off the papers of this horse.

We have several offspring of an own son of Peppy San Badger. (Points and $ earner)

With the Gay Bars and Pocos in there I'd say that you've got yourself a nice prospect.
