We could both be right. She's real cute, but for sure not the real refined longer legged type that's popular today.

    Foal
I didn't get any kind of paper work with her but her cogglins (sp?). The old owner had her about 3 1/2 years the other thing I am worried about is she was with her son and he was still a stud, I have the vet coming next week to check her out and see if she might be in foal. They said they never saw him mount her but she has a buldge in frount of her bag, I have had 1 mare that foaled but that was in 1992 and I don't remember what to look for so the vet will be the one :)

What's it say on her coggins? They usually put the full registered name on those if they have one.

I was wondering about that when you said she was still with her son, I was crossing my fingers that he'd been gelded, for more than 1 reason. OOOOOY! Good luck!

Eh...bummer. I really hate when these horses lose their paperwork (heritage). I think everyone should send the papers with their horses whether given away or sold. It makes such a difference sometimes on how well they do.

If you ever find her registered name or even a registration number, I have Data Source and could look her up for you and tell you for sure what her breeding is.

She's probably some sort of Arabian cross.

She looks Arabian to me too. I had a purebred gelding who was way more stocky than her, many Arabians are quite stocky actually.
