    You can actually almost do more with a mini than a full sized horse(other than ride them). They have a large amount of showmanship classes you can do with them along with driving, halter classes etc etc.

    I LOVE my minis :) First and foremost, they are pets to me. I enjoy spending my time with them. I breed them, have one due really soon. I am part of a mini horse driving drill team (www.minimystique.org). I show them: AMHA/AMHR shows in halter, liberty, halter obstacle, driving obstacle, ect. Some showmanship as well, but just at non-AMHA/AMHR shows so far.

    But my main love is Combined Driving. It's a BLAST! Hopefully soon in the picture section I will get up my photos from this past weekend's event. My mini Chili Pepper and I came in 2nd in Prelim VSE. I also got second in Training Single Pony with my Fell, Harley :)

    We have a mini at our barn she is a trail horse for our little kids that want a ride. But now she is breed so no riding for her for a while

    Where I board, there are 5 minis and the little kids take lessons on them. I have a friend who has minis and she puts 2 together in a stall. She thinks of them more as big dogs than horses.
