Missing info on Appendix Quarter Pedigree

I was looking up Belle's (Lota Peppy Leona) pedigree for fun, but there's a lot of missing info. Seems like it's mainly missing from "Ritz Alot", her grand-dam. Actually, Ritz Alot's breed isn't even listed, but she must be an AQH because her # doesn't have an "X" in front on her #. It's 0708150. I know next to nothing about quarters. Does anyone have anything on this mare? It stops at her parents, Sin O' Bar and Tango Tessie. Thanks!

Im sorry your having so much trouble finding the information you want.
I would be of no help to you though as I know nothing QH.
I hope someone else on here can help though.
Good luck.
Oh and by the way are you her only owner or would her previous owners be able to shed some light on the mystery?

I'm thinking she probably is a quarter horse. Maybe they weren't very popular lines? They don't have dates, pictures, or anything!! Maybe their parents weren't registered and they proved through DNA tests they were full blood quarters and became registered. Or maybe the registry opened up so people could register their 'grade' quarter horses more easily?

I like looking up linage like that though =]

^Awesome! I love Native Dancer.

Yeah, Ritz Alot is definitely a registered quarter, because she has a registration number on my horse's papers.

Like you said, the line might not be really impressive or something, so nobody has bothered to update the pedigree. I think at allbreedpedigree, if nobody voluntarily puts the info in, it just stays blank until somebody does.

We have a set of AQHA stud books and no reg #'s start with a "0". If you want, pm me a copy of her papers and I'll see what I can find.

Sure, that would be great. I don't have a scanner, but I can give you whatever info you need. I will double check, but I am almost positive that Ritz Alot's # started with a "0". Could definitely have keyed it in wrong though. LoL, the plot thickens...

Ok, so I just checked, and almost all the QH's on Belle's (Lota Peppy Leona) pedigree start with a zero...

Her sire's reg. # starts with "1", but from him on back, they all start with zeros...

Same on her mom's side...besides Ms Pacific Sunset (and the thoroughbreds, of course), all start with "0".

I can post their numbers, if anyone is interested in looking into it. LoL, I really wanna know, now...at first it was idle curiosity, now it's driving me nuts! :)

Yes post them please. I also enjoy looking up pedigrees on horses. You never know she just might have a better pedigree than you know. I will look into it a lot more. I have a friend that knows a lot about the QH's that is all he has. I can get some info from him. Just let me know if you want me to fill in the blanks at allbreedpedigree.
