Morgan Quarter horse? QUESTION!!

I was talking to a girl in one of my classes today and long story short, she knows Cecil, Kodee, and Demi.
I was talking about Demi and I asked her somequestions like what breed is she? And what training has she had (I only asked because the husband didn't know anything about the horses)
So it turns out that (IF she remembers correctly) Demi is a QH/Morgan cross.
My question is that she said she is registered... is that possible?
And just OT but it turns out Demi WAS trained as a 2-3 year old....

In the Half Quarter Horse Association.
I had a Morgan/QH myself. She was a good mare. Not the most gorgeous thing in the world(QH head, morgan body), but had a great temperament.)

Yeah you can register a hald quarter horse in the Half Quarter Horse Association as long as you can prove that she/he has a registered sire or mare.
I also have a QH/Morgan cross. Can't register her though. She got the Morgan head and the Quarter horse body unlike thunderhooves mare. She also has a level tempermant (most of the time haha!)
