This is our boy we just got for free. He is awesome, good with my hubby, and my two tween girls and I'm in love. He likes to trot though, has 3 speeds, nice slow trot, medium trot and very fast trot no walk or canter LOL. We are told he is part Morgan though.

YAY! Morgan people!!

I started riding morgans back in 2007 in Hunter Pleasure and fell in love with the show atmosphere, its so fun! So, I recently bought 2 of my own...both mares. One we are hoping will make a Park horse, and the other will be English Pleasure, possibly Hunter pleasure if she doesnt make it in the saddle classes...and definitely an OKC in-hand prospect. They have good bloodlines...sired by an Above Command stud and Tara's Cherokee daughters, going back to Waskeekas in Command and Tedwin Topic and Trophy.

Do you guys show any of your Morgans? What are their bloodlines or do you know? Im just glad im not the only Morganeer on here, I was beginning to think I was!

I don't know a whole lot about our guy. My friend got him last year for free from a lady, she said he was from a Boys Military School in NY that has since been shut down and he was used for Parades. He does have an awesome brand on his hip. She gave him to her hay guy who said his wife wanted a horse. After a year of boarding and one to two rides he said the horse goes. SO, my friend told me about him and we out and rode and he is incredible. Likes to trot and he has an awesome trot. My 11 and 12 year old girls have both ridden him and plan to show him in 4H and I would love to do trail courses on him. He is definitely worth getting, I love him. But I would like to know whether he is a purebred or not. I've never rode a Morgan but I always loved Arabs.
