    Morgans - Nationals?

So I was contemplating showing at Grand Nationals this year with the Morgan I will be buying.

He has shown there last year by a different owner/rider (One I do not like and I totally disagree with the way she had him riding. Total "in your face" riding and cranking his head down & just tucking his head).

Does anybody else on here show Morgans or have/will be showing at Nationals this year in Oklahoma?

I live in OKC so it would be easy for me.

Hello! Yes, I have Morgans and have/will be showing at Nationals. Who is the horse you just bought?

Nevermind, did you purchase the horse you posted about, Chet? If so I know the horse from the owner that sold him to the girl you bought him from.

If you buy this horse, I think he would be great in dressage/jumping. I saw him a few weeks ago and I do think he could use some more weight and muscal. As for you not likeing the last owner/rider that is your opinion and you have a right to it. I am not sure on what you meant by" in your face" and just tucking his head in. He was light in the bridle and moved nicly off my seat and leg. The picture on dream horse shows light reins. The shows that this horse went to was judged by Morgan trainers and they must have liked the way he moved and looked because he always placed well and above top trainers horses. Anyway the most important thing for me is that he finds a good home and with someone who will love him. I owned him all of this life up until DEC. Of last year. If I didn't have to down size I would have kept him. I wish you the best of luck with him and hope to see you in the show ring!

My daughter and I have been to the Nationals. She showing, me watching. We were going to go with our new horse this year but I don't think he is steady enough yet. You never know though. We would be probably showing Classic Pleasure.
