    Oh no, he has extremely high withers. I can't see over them unless I'm on an angle! And yes, he is definitely a hard keeper! We got him a year ago and he was skinny then and lost even more weight over the winter. We have finally found a diet that he is gaining on though, thank goodness.

    I had thought about thoroughbred because of his height (I measure him at 16.2 hands) and narrow build. He has a big head and I had a really hard time finding a headstall to fit him, he also measures for a 6 1/4 inch bit. The lady at the tack store said she'd put her money on him being a draft cross purely by his measurements.
