National Show Horse

Im talking Arabian/Saddlebred and Arabian/Saddlebred/Paint crosses. Really lively horses, Ive been keeping my eye out for and they dont seem that common. Ive been told you can find them 16+ hands but the tallest I have seen is 15.2hh. I like seeing them though, so if anyone has, post some pictures! My instructor has one and he is a total punky dramatic love bug. Loads of funky personality with a ton of athletic ability.

Think of it not as a failure but as a success in how not to do it.

Don't look in a horses mouth for a gift.

These are the only pictures I have of him. His name is Dannie. I'm not sure about his registered name. He is a National Show Horse, though. I should also say he isn't mine. He is owned by the owner of an Arabian show barn that I worked at.

They can often be really hot horses, but can also be pretty amazing, and as you said, athletic.

In my photo's, he is the solid Bay. He was a very quiet, lovey dovey kind of horse. He was at 16hh in those photos. Was put to sleep at 4yrs old due to a shattered leg. I will never forget him.

This is my instructors NSH gelding, Avalanche. He is so perky and affectionate, it is like he HAS to be in your face and he'll get afronted if I say hello to somebody before him. He is a sweet heart though with endless energy. Endless. Energy.
