new horse-what breed is she?

Hi everyone, I have attached several pictures of our new mare. She is 9 years old and approximately 17hh and 1500 lbs. Just curious what everyone thinks that she is. It is hard to see but her butt is VERY wide and she has a very flashy trot. She is VERY well trained, very well mannered, and has a wonderfully smooth lope and trot. I have been given a little bit of history on her, but want to wait to share it to see what everyone guesses. BTW her name is Cadillac (does it fit, or should we rename her?) We wont be picking her up for a few weeks yet.
ALSO does anyone know how to look up her brand?

Perch/perch cross? Possibly Canadian Horse? I've seen some really heavy, drafty built ones that resemble your guy.. though most seem to be lighter.

Oh she's got some Percheron for sure! And I believe it's bad luck to change a horses name (show or barn). My horse came with the name Neigh. Yeah his breeder let a 6 yr old name him. But I grew really attached to it later!

Definitely Perch. She's smooth & big so Cadillac is a good name for her.

So in lies the madness, the pursuit of the impossible in the face of the complete assurance that you will fail, and yet still you chase.

apparently caddy is a perch QH cross, although she is just as big as the full percherons she lives with. She was a PMU rescue foal from I think North Dakota (anyone aware of any PMU farms there?) and then was imported to Canada with her previous owner. I tried to look up her brand in the North Dakota registry, but couldnt find it-there are several that are very similar though.

This is one of two that you're picking up soon, right? I love her. You guys are going to have lots of fun. Didn't realize she was so tall! I'd be tempted to say purebred Percheron...

She is one of the ones we went to look at; originally we were going after the guys two geldings-which is what my other post was about; but after some thought and the fact that I really want my current gelding o work out, we decided on just one. And then we fell in love with this mare instead of the boys-she is just so well trained and well behaved, and nice to ride. Funny how things work out-but some times you "just know", like the horse chooses you.
