Not too sure what breed he is, help?:)

Hey guys! So I recently got a horse and it's part of a deal, he doesn't have any papers or anything. But we're not sure what breed he is:/ Can anyone take a look at the picture and give me any ideas? We think he's a quarter horse but im just tryin to get some other opinions, ya know?

I would say a Paint for sure! Not only does he have the classic overo markings but his confirmation shows aspects of QH and TB breeding so I would feel quite confident to say he's a Paint! Nice looking boy!

Haha I knew about the paint;) but I had a feeling he had some QH in him somewhere, Thank you!

Definitely a paint with QH and TB breeding. I would say probably more QH than TB.

Colour wise (just out of interest) I see sabino and splashed white markers (the baldy face is VERY splashed-white, the pointy leg markings are very sabino). There are also a couple of aspects of what looks like frame, but I know that sabino/splashed white combined can look a lot like frame. What do the colour experts think? (this is for MY education)

All Paints have QH in them! Most registered APHAs have more or less half of each TB and QH breeding in them if you go back. This is of course very general but the true APHA ancenstors came from QHs and TBs more or less equally. Some have a bit more of one than another for example my mare has a bit more of the TB side which you can see in her refined look and yours looks to have a tiny bit more of the QH side.

Here is my mare's breeding Mystery Foolish Flirt Paintyou can see that she goes back to almost all the founding QH's...Three Bars (actually reg as both but founding to the QH breed), King, Leo, Skip W, Wimpy, Poco Bueno, and Joe Reed
Aswell as the most famous race horses of all time including Native Dancer, Round Table, Man O War(Seabisuit's Grandsire), Princequillo and Nasrullah (both Secretariat's Grandsires), Jet Deck, etc...

So your guy probably has alot of QH and TB in his bloodlines :)
