opinions! just for fun

So I'm trying to figure out what breed my horse could possibly be. I know we're just guessing but I'm curious what opinions others might have.

She has naturally slow movement that are very smooth. She's very thinly built with a longer than average thin head. She's definitely part paint considering she's black and white.
So What horse breeds are slow and thin?

There are quite a few breeds that fit that description. Do you have pictures that you could share?

My first impression from the picture is some kind of gaited cross, maybe standardbred or tennessee walking horse. Is he gaited at all?

It would be easier to give a better guess with some good pictures...full body...from the front and sides with him squared up and with his head up.
Gidget likes this.

Here's the best pic I can get. And no she doesn't really seem gaited, at least not the high stepping fast kind.

This is what I thought too by the description and the pictures. I'm leaning more towards the spotted walking horse.

You guys all took the words out of my mouth 8/ My neighbor has a spotted walker, that looks a lot like him. OP, are you sure she doesn't gait any?? She has that narrow build that reminds me of my Racker xD

She definitely does not rack at all. Maybe she is a gaited breed that just doesn't gait :/

Just because its colored, doesnt mean its Paint. Lots of breeds have that coloring, its called a pinto...
Id venture to say maybe a Saddlebred, though maybe not the typical look. They have some pintos in the woodpile. The Forelock, did you cut it? If not that's another clue, saddlebred people tend to keep that shaved for a clean appearence.
Some saddlebreds do gait, I have one, but not all of them do. Not all of them have the high knee action either. I have one of each.

Either way, that's a cute horse. Have fun with him.
