    With Canter, did you go see the horse before buying it? Or did you just learn what you could and bought the horse from that alone?

    The second link you kindly offered doesn't seem to have anymore horses for sale, or is the site not updated?

    Love them! And just got one :)
    They love to work and have a job. They are athletic and have a good work ethic. My 4 year old OTTB is pretty much BOMBPROOF (tractors, chickens, dogs, cars etc... everything including any noise) Easy to retrain into any discipline. Mine is on his way to being a jumper.

    OTTBs are wonderful and giving such an athlete a second chance is really amazing.

    My trainer said they come with a lot of baggage when I said I would be interested in one. She's still going to look but I've seen so many injured ones which wouldn't do well in the jumping ring :(
