I am being told this is an unregistered Percheron. I dont think he is pure bred. What do you all think and what do you think he might be crossed with?

Sorry I dont have any better pictures right now.

Our stable owners husband just bought him for 600.00
Found out more about him... he is 15.3 HH and is a Percheron/Saddlebred cross.

He is very pretty. :)

So hard to tell, Im not sure. I cant imagine him being crossed with anything along the lines of tbs. Something short and stocky.
i can't see the pictures but if you are saying that he was probably bred with something short and stock...it might be a qh.idk.like i said though, i can't see the pictures.

He's not pure-bred Percheron for sure, because he has feathered hoofs. I think Percherons are the only draft horse without feathers.

There are quite a few Perchies that have feathering. My boy is a bit in between. He's fot some but not a lot like Clydes or Shires. His brother had a lot of feathering and people always thought he was a Friesian.

They've started working with a trainer here, just doing ground work right now. I believe he is going to be the B.O.'s husbands trail horse.

According to his former owner, he is Percheron x Saddlebred

i lease a Percheron cross (no ider what hes crossed with) but he is massive-the neck is unbelievable-he is a keg on legs but delightful. hard to believe anything with a thin long neck has Perch in it???? Usually the big stout neck is a dominant trait. they have a fabulous personality anyway, no matter the looks.
