This is the "trend" right now. A Pintaloosa is not a breed, it's a color. Pinto is a color, not a breed. Like Pintabian...not a breed ;) There are Pintaloosa Quarterhorses all over the place now.

They are not commonly seen in miniatures as I used to breed, train and show them. Never seen one. Interesting mix no doubt.

There is a difference between Pinto and Paint, it isnt just a color ;)

There's a horse boarding here - er, at home - that Cole says is a pintaloosa. I'll find a picture of him. (He's a horse...not a mini...)

Pinto is NOT a breed, it is a color. Just like Palomino isn't a breed, it's a color. Just because something has a registry, doesn't make it a breed.

Take in mind when talking about a pintaloosa some people may be talking about a pinto appaloosa cross it might not have the coloring
