Hi this is Cloe' my horse, she is 16 hh lightly spotted dun but we don't know what breed she is, does any one have any ideas of what breed she could be? As far as we know she was imported from Romania.

I have been to Romania well Transylvania
And the most common color there is that light buckskinissh color with some shavings of light hair or spots
Also lots of bays and sorelle's and chestnuts
I can't remember the name of the breed but I just hope people don't think your fibbing about were your horse came from
    He looks just like them

Thank you for replying, we bought cloe' from a dealer and they import the horses over from other countries and they said alot of the ones they have was imported from Romania so as far as we know that's where cloe' came from. What conditions did the horses live in in Transylvania, did they have shoes? When we got Cloe' shod the farrier said he doesnt think she's been shod many times before only once or twice so that would be interesting to know about.

I did a google search for Romanian horse breeds. They have the Romanian Sport Horse (Calul de Sport Romanesc), Romanian Trotter, Furioso North-Star, Romanian Saddle Horse.

    http://www.tiho-hannover.de/einricht...t/2_1total.htm

There is a list of breeds by country, and there are several breeds in the Romania section that I didn’t list. It will give you some information about each breed, not a lot, but some. Like size, colouring, what they are good for, that sort of thing.

And they lives in very nice grand looking stables but there were those stables and then there were horses out side in the cold mud
    And they owned them all
It's like they were picing favorits wiht the horses cause I asked and the ones out side stayed out side ALL the time
    It was weird
