Possibly buying an Arab-opinions on sire and dam?

Hey everyone! SO I'm buying my first horse (yay!) since Maggie will be back for her lovely boy Sky soon (double YAY for them being reunited again!!) and I have found a purebred Arab that we really like. I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about his sire and dam? Google has failed me! His sire is Baskhazi III and his dam is Chabli C

Try Baskghazi...there is not a III on allbreedpedigree. I don't have data source anymore....maybe someone else does.

go to vallian arabians. She owned the mare, too, but I did not see her on the site. You could call the woman, though. She will be glad to talk, I am sure!

I would buy him for his dam lines alone. Just having SX Saladin in his pedigree would be enough to get me to seriously consider him and that his tail female line comes out of the Coleal breeding program........that's enough. Rhoda Coleal didn't breed no junk. His sire is no slouch either. Pics?

It is va aristahzi I'm considering! I absolutely adore him so far! He met my 6 year old for the first time yesterday and was absolutely amazing with him :) and it was the first time aristahzi met a child. I'm very impressed with him so far. The owner (vallian farms) was super nice and has been very forthcoming-I just don't want to bug her with all my dumb questions :P ill try to upload the video of my son brushing him yesterday-it's too cute!

I agree with deserthorsewoman-- that pedigree is stellar and you can't go wrong with Polish-- steadfast, calm horses that can do it all. His temperament with your boy comes as no surprise.. I'd snatch him up! :)

For those who don't like me-- it's mind over matter; I don't mind - - and you don't matter.
