Unfortunately, I'm positive it wasn't a mistake.
If you are trying to look up a pedigree and there are several horses with the same name, AllBreedpedigree automatically brings up a list of horses with that name, their breeds, year of birth, sex, color, and sire and dam. For example, there are 3 "Red Ribbons" on Allbreedpedigree; 2 of them are Thoroughbreds, one born in 1966, the other born in 1839, and one part-Arab born in 1983. In my mare's case, she was the only
horse with that name of any breed. There was no mix-up.
I'd just shrug it off if this was the first time, but this was the third
time this has happened. I have a fairly good idea who is doing this. There is a group of, let's just say "ne'er-do-wells", that populate a Yahoo chat group who started this stuff with my breed and are now moving on to other breeds (mainly Saddlebreds, Arabs and Warmbloods) as well.
