I am new to horses and I am at the point where I am ready to start leasing a horse. Well I think I have met my future horse :) I went to go see a Quarab the other day that my riding instructor had recommended for me and she was the sweetest horse I have EVER met! She was so beautiful too! I wish I had taken my camera with me so I could post pictures. She also has a super beautiful super full double mane that I LOVE! So anyways, I was wondering if anyone has any info they could share with me on Quarabs :)

Thanks so much, I really hope it works out too! There is a person that got to her before I did and they may buy her though. I should find out in the next few days and it actually looks promising because they asked about her a week ago and still haven't contacted the owner back to arrange to pick her up for a week long trial with her. I hope I get her though I mean, I know it sounds dumb and probably childish (i'm 25 btw, lol) but I really felt a connection with her that I have never had with any other horse. I don't know how to explain it but I just really think we mesh well together...

I love my new Quarab. He is the sweetest horse and has been an angel since coming to my barn.

He is so good I will be giving pony rides to my 9 & 11 yr old boys.

A couple weeks ago he was unrideable. Now he is mr. perfect - lol!

My friend used to have a Quarab she barrel raced. She passed away unfortunately :[ She was the best horse! She was extremely gentle with kids (even at a very, very young age) and would listen and obey anything you asked her to do. One of my other friends has that horse's half brother and is barrel racing him as well. He's amazing also! Just by knowing those two horses, I think Quarabs are a very good breed!

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail...

I think some of them can be so gorgeous! If I was in the market for a new horse I would absolutely have them on my list!
