We need pictures of him. Even if a horse has a body for some sports does not mean they like it.

Any horse can do any sport, but how his body is built will determine his aptitude for it and success. Now the inner me wanted to say "Of course! QH's can do ANYTHING!"

If you know his pedigree, lots of horses are bred for specific things, like halter, for example. :)

I see him being more of a western pleasure horse. I don't see him doing barrels. He might be good at polls.

Truthfully, that one picture isn't good enough for us to even get a real idea of what he looks like, let alone what his physical aptitude might lean toward.

Also, he's only a yearling still. Yearlings can go through some funky stages where they look absolutely nothing like their breeding and nothing like what they'll look like as a 3 year old.

So, it would really be unfair for us to judge him based on his looks right now.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/
