Red Freisians

Can't remember where I found this, maybe by accident  , but just wanted to share and see what you guys thought.
I'm not sure whether they're purebred, or crosses, as it doesn't say on the page.

And this guy is pretty stunning too, but he's got arab in him, which gives him his colour.

No fps- approved stallion is allowed to carry the red gene, so its pretty rare. However, since studbook registration for mares does not require testing, it still pops up occasionally. You can't breed them (not if you want registerable offspring, anyway) but I do think they are pretty :)

I ADORE Friesian's. I drool over Arc every time I go out to the barn. The red is a nice color, but my personal preference is to the black.

Great pics tho!

Wow

wow!! Those horses were beautiful!! I loved the red coat and the grey/white was stunning. I think the reds must be a cross of some sort becuase everywhere I've read says that I fresian must be pure black or very dark bay to be considered a purebred. But still I'm amazed!!!

Love your horse, you may leave the stable and never here their playful whinny again.... Take it from a person whos experienced this.
