Registered Name Ideas

I need to choose a registered name for an American Saddlebred colt.

He's a cremello, and will be about 16hh when all grown up.

His sire is Vanilla Hot Shot and dam is Ivory Lace

I'm looking for something on the shorter side, without Vanilla or Ivory (sorry, every cremello out there seems to be Vanilla, Ivory, Pearl etc....) I want something that stands out and has "punch"

Photos following (he's 2 months old, roughly)

I'll post a couple of names I've thought of... I'm not "sold" on them though

Hot Ivory Night (when you say it, it almost sounds like a play on words "Hot Every Night")

Hot ****

Hot Luck

Hot On Broadway

For additional names in his pedigree:

Grandsire (top and bottom) - Broadway's Hot Shot
Granddam (top side) - Desdemona's Lucky Lady
Granddam (bottom side) - Desdemonas Golden Love

Thanks... he just totally captured my attention the day he was born, and I can't believe I got lucky enough to buy him (someone else had spoken first, but they didn't finalize the sale)

That last one... that's horrible! LOL Unique though

Can I ask - does Shotway mean something?

Hmmm, more good ideas ! Great stuff... right now we're batting around Sure Shot (Shotway was what got me thinking of it)...

But now I'm thinking maybe Polar Shot, or Hot Shot With Ivory... this really isn't easy LOL

Thanks for the comments about him, I'm REALLY excited.

Lol.. well, I think it led us to the name we're going to go with anyhow... Sure Shot

The breeder was joking (oh I hope so anyhow) about calling him Sure Shot By A Long Shot.... he'll haveta be a big horse to support that much name!
