Yay for a rescue! I think it looks like a standardbred or thoroughbred cross.

I was thinking tb when I saw him but wasnt for sure. I will check for a tat and get a video of him moving.

When I can't ride anymore, I shall keep horses as long as I can hobble along with a bucket and wheelbarrow. When I can't hobble, I shall roll my wheelchair out by the fence of the field where my horses graze, and watch them!

I was thinking TB but he could be a Standardbred. Look for a tattoo. If there isn't one, you might not figure out what he is. I got my mare from an auction almost 3 years ago and I'm still not sure what she is, but I believe she's an Anglo Arab.

I'm going with Standardbred. His build, the size of his hooves, thick bone and the shape of his face just scream standardbred to me. He's handsome! :)

I'm going over to my dads today and will check for a tat and try and get a video of him moving. Im also going to try and call the lady and see if she has anypaper work on him like old coggins or something!. Wish me luck on that one.

Glad you rescued the poor guy, he is so awfully thin. I'm sort of leaning toward Tennessee Walker, or maybe Standardbred.

sorry guys TS Debby has had it raing here for the past 3 days and I havnt been able to get a video of him moving or check for a tat. But as soon as the storm passes I will be out there.
