Hello! I was recently browsing for horses for sale online (because that is what I do in my spare time before I go to the barn... kinda sad lol) and I came across the breed Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar. I have never heard of them, I did a google search and came up with the breed registration, but it didn't seem to tell me much about them... maybe I didn't look hard enough. I was just curious if anybody had heard about the breed or worked with them because I wanted to know what they were like. Thanks!

I've heard of the breed, seen a few ads for them, although I haven't met any that I know of at least. I believe they're usually referred to as Rheinlanders and are used for english disciplines, mainly dressage and jumping. They're a type of Warmblood registry (breed, registry, sport horse, whatever you want to call it) if I recall correctly.

I've never known any personally, but they are used primarily in the english, jumping diciplines. I believe I read somewhere that they do not have very good temperments though. I could be wrong, but I think that is what I had read somewhere.
