Russian Appaloosa?

http://reno.craigslist.org/grd/2801381052.html

I don't need another horse, but I can't stop myself from browsing the ads. Is this a breed? I can't find anything on it. I can't help to think she was duped. The horse does not even look like a regular appaloosa too me.

Apparently, Russian Appaloosa means expensive Grade horse.

LOL, my first thought is a rushin' appaloosa, like maybe he is a hot blooded booger , and maybe she mistook it for "russian".

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Hahahaha! My mustang is one of those! Whenever I get near her, she rushes away! Looks like I got her for a steal!

The original seller had to make him sound rare & spectacular i'm guessing. Calling Him a Russian Appy rather than a solid colored ranch/trail broke appaloosa I doubt would have brought out too much interest at $7500 his apparent original price when first purchased.

That's pretty much what I figured. Just thought I woul ask since I had never heard of it, and trusty ole' google did not have any answers either. I always giggle when people are selling a horse that you should "hold on to".

Russian Appys are a little cantankerous. If you piss them off, they are known to jerk off their shoe and bang it on their feeder or whatever else is near...

Only old fogies like me will get that...

LMAO Faceman...

And yes.. I think the lady was duped. All I can find is a reference to some Russian breeding on reining-appaloosa.com and that's vague at best.
