No she doesnt. Medicine hats have only a 'war bonnet' on their face, a 'plate' on their chest, and a 'flank plate" While your mare has color where it needs to be, she also has color where it cannot be for a medicine hat. Your mare is just a sorrel overo.

I would say no because the color isn't restricted to just her ears and poll. It also goes down her throatlatch and down her topline as well.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

She is a Sorrel overo, would not classify your horse as a medicine hat.

Pinto marking. Connected with some Native American legends. Also immortalized in a Marguerite Henry book.

It looks more like a tovero, not a top hat.

Bonnie looks like she is a medicine hat (except at close inspection there is a streak of white that breaks up the color between her ears - you just can't see it through the forelock).

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

It's not always what you say but what they hear.
