Is she a Medicine Hat ?

This is Bisquit our 5 yo Paint mare. We've heard her called a medicine hat by several people and wern't very familiar with what makes a paint a medicine hat. The only color on her is her bonnet that comes down over her right eye and a round spot about 16" around the base of her tail and tail same color.

I don't think that's considered a medicine hat. Could be wrong.

Technically speaking, I believe there needs to be a break of white between the color over the ears/poll and the rest of the face.

No she isn't a medicine hat. There should be no connecting color between a "hat" of color that covers the ears and any other color on the head/neck.

No. The marking should look like a "hat", meaning it should only cover the ears & poll (like the one in the pic below).
Very pretty mare though. My aunt had one that looked almost just like her, only she had no other color markings on her body!
