Skipper Ws?

I am wondering if any of you are familiar with Skipper W and his offspring, and what you think of them. Have you ever had one, and what discipline did you use them in? Thanks! :)

I have never heard of him! What breed is he?

I love the Skipper W line. I've never actually owned one but I've ridden them. They are usually super trainable athletic beautiful horses. My sister did own a Skipper W grandson, I'm sure she will comment on him.

I've definitely heard of him, but I'm not familiar with the line.

Thanks for the replies. Any more are also welcome!
We've been interested in learning more about the Skipper W lines, and have heard several different things about them. Some people really like his offspring and their ability, typical personality, trainability etc. , and others have said things like, "Well, they've taken a real bad rap. You just are going the wrong direction if you're trying to get into the Wiescamp horses. They were popular in their time, but not many people will even buy them now if they're Skipper W bred." I would love to get as many opinions as possible. :) FehrGroundRanch, when you've ridden any Skipper Ws, what were you mainly doing with them? Thanks again.
