Edited beacsue I didn't know this was an old thread. Glad she was tested!

Splash causes blue eyes, frame does not. There is a great chance she is both. I know solid horses that carry fram if its in her pedigree at all I would get her tested if you're ever thinking of breeding her.

No, Frame & Splash both cause blue eyes.
The OP stated that her mare tested negative for OLW.

Right Frame=OWLS/Lethal White can cause blue eyes, Splash does and Sabino MIGHT I was confused

It means she's most likely splash, but possibly splash and sabino and maybe even just sabino. It would be easier if they had tests for every type of sabino : )

So far it seems pretty certain that Sabino doesn't cause blue eyes. So splash is the cause :)

I think Sabino in homozygous form may influence blue eyes...then again a lot of what we think is Sabino we are finding out is actually dominant white, so it could be dominant white does and sabino doesn't...mysteries of horse colors...
