Do you think teachin my 5 year old geldin standardbred to neck rein will be hard???? He does a good job when your riddin him but he wont neck rein. Help please?!

Did he ever race? He looks like a pacer to me, judging by his build. I don't know much about any riding, but I only have standardbreds- all of which are racers. Looking at the pic I would really really try to build up some muscle on him and get him in shape, he could use a lot of it. He's got a cute face.

Thank you, when I got him he looked much worse. I bought him to ride on trail rides. When I seen him me and him bonded right away. He really trusts me.
