    Still unsure about his breed

Ive been on and off this forum for a few months and we had this same topic going a few months back but I am still wondering if the general opinion on Diego is that he IS NOT an APH.
I baught him as a paint no papers. So we arnt 100%.He is 16 hands.here is a video of him .My mom came out to ride him because she is a walking horse person and there was some speculation the he sometimes had a gait she said no there is no gait so I am trying again to see what yall think with this new footage.(yes I know his curb chain was too loose I fixed it)
This was my moms first time on a horse in 20 years so don't mind her seat.

Okay, he is a paint. There are some paints that aren't registered and people call them 'pintos' and they can be registered with the IPSHR (International Pattern Sport Horse Registry)

But Paints are crossed with all kinds of breeds! He has a 'paint' pattern. Plus, your in Texas. I'm just next door xD There are a lot of paints that aren't registered just because no one took the time.

You could also register him Welcome to the Pinto Horse Association of America Inc. in the pinto Assoc. Based on his color alone.

If he is unregistered he is a Pinto, and could be registered as a pinto, he can NOT be registered a paint w/out both parents being registered APHA (American Paint Horse Association).

Paints are not crossed w/ many other breeds (atleast and not registered APHA), they can only be Paint, QH, and Thoroughbred.

Pinto is registered on color (they don't accept horses w/ app charactoristics, or if I'm not mistaken drafts).

So w/out knowing your horses parents are registered APHA, then I'd say he's a pinto! If you want to have him registered, you can, as a pinto!

And a Paint can be double registered as a pinto!

I was suggesting that if she wanted to register him as a Pinto she could do so pending he met the requirements that are outlined on the website.

Okay, well, he does Rack. He was racking for a bit around 0.23 in the vid. So, he's possibly crossed with something gaited.
