Thanks, everyone! I didn't realize how pretty unimpressive her pedigree is =D that's okay, because she's a pretty impressive horse! To me, at least :)

Agreed--not a 5-star pedigree, but certainly not bad either! And 40+ races doesn't have to mean anything. I work with a Thoroughbred adoption program, and we have a horse that raced 47 times, earned almost $500,000, and he is perfectly sound and jumping! Each horse is different.
