Definitely interesting!
I agree, I find it interesting that people tend to shy away from TBs-especially mares; maybe because of the fact that here, they are bred and bred and bred without thought of quality. When I went to Europe, TBs were vastly used to add elegance and refinement, but the quality of the thoroughbred was so much more than you would generally find in North America...

Its sad how this has happend over time. I have a thoroughbred mare. She is only 14.2 hands! But you have to take into account that her growth was stunted cause she was completely starved from the time she was about 1 or 2yo until she was a 3yo. But she is still tiny for a thoroughbred!!
