Tied To A Pole - Poor little guy

Okay, So I know nothing about miniature horses. Haha I guess that's what this little guy is. He looks exactly like a horse just shrunken....maybe they all do, but the miniatures that I've seen were so chunky and weird looking. (no offense, just different to me)

Anyways- The Rescue I work at Found him Tied to a pole with no food or water, just abandoned. He is really sweet, he doesnt have a name yet. I didnt know if there is a specific name for his breed, if there is will you please tell me??

Oh and do all of us a favor --> DreamCatchers Equine Rescue!! www.dcerinc.com -- we re-homed over 200 horses but we still have a little over 100. This isnt supposed to be an add but someone help this lil guy:)

He looks like a small pony, not a mini.

Definitely cute though, whatever he is.

He looks more like a shetland cross to me. I don't really see that much mini in him. Maybe he is 1/2 or 1/4 mini, and the rest shetland, or maybe a lighter welsh? He looks too tall to be a full mini.

He will probably be better to guess his breed once he has some more weight on him!
:) good luck with finding an adoptive home for him!

They have 850 acres of pasture and hay- looks like a beautiful facility. They are a 501c3. Looks like a very nice place.

I'm sticking to my original idea of New Forest x, don't think he's exmoor x anymore, possibly a Welsh x New Forest. Only because there is a New Forest x for sale on a website in Britain that looks like a plumper version of him
