Yep, that's why "tovero" is such a confusing term, it can be talking about any of those 3 genes mixed with Tobiano.

She is a tovero. Blue eyes are a charactoristic, but not a requirement. And I doubt she started w/ blue eyes, true blue eyes (not normal baby blues) are pretty obvious early on.

My mare is a a framed overo, when I got her at two 1/2, she had two blue eyes, but now one of them is changing to brown. I just thought they would have changed sooner than that as a baby when she was younger.

But you can go to the APHA website and they have pictures and information of all the pattern types.
