Weird habit

My fave horse at the stable, Roly is a thorough bred/quarter horse. He has a weird habit or stretching his neck and shaking his head when I halt him. It might just be his personality, he likes to have a good stretch, but do you guys think it has anything to do with the breed? Because my instructor says it might just be his breed.

I don't think it has anything to do with his breed. It could just be the way he is or something else.

No, it is not breed. Does he roll his eyes when he does this, too? There are neurological disorders that cause sensitivity to the face. Some are very mild and nothing to worry over, so I am not trying to alarm you. But, they almost all exhibit stretching and shaking at pressure (such as a halt).

There is just as much horse sense as ever, but the horses have most of it.
